Bill Reynolds

William "Bill" Reynolds, of Mt. Vernon, is a junior high band director. He is a graduate of Murray State University with a major in music performance. In addition, he is an experienced circus musician and owner. Bill has appeared with Circus Genoa, Frantzen Brothers Circus, and the Kelly Miller Circus. He is currently a member of community bands in Greenville, Highland and West Frankfort.
Bill has performed as the principal trombonist with the Jackson, Tennessee Symphony and participated in the Rend Lake College Orchestra, Centralia Cultural Society Orchestra, and Kaskaskia College Community Band. He is the director of an 1880's era band, the Independent Silver Band of Mt. Vernon. Bill feels that the 33rd's participation in the 2003 National Civil War Band Festival has been one of the highlights of his musical career.
