Dawn Henry is a mild-mannered State Farm Auto claims adjustor by day, musician by night (or day). Dawn handles accident investigations, property, and injury claims. Dawn and her husband, Ted, live in Springfield, IL. Both are active in re-living history at Civil War Re-enactments where Dawn portrays the wife of Colonel Dudley Wickersham (portrayed by husband Ted), commander of the 10th Illinois Volunteer Cavalry Regiment.
Dawn is a member of several other music organizations including: Springfield Municipal Band (French Horn), the Heartland Brass Band on a British style E-flat Alto horn, and the 10th Illinois Volunteer Cavalry Regiment Band. Dawn is also a vocal soloist with these groups. She was previously a member of the Peoria Municipal Band, St. Martin De Porres Chamber Ensemble, numerous other church brass and wind ensembles, and the Peoria Area Civic Chorale.
Dawn has two sons: 1) Forrest (married to Shannon) who are the parents of Dawn’s perfect grandchildren, Sarah and Benen; and 2) Nicholas who is serving in the Air Force in California specializing in Signals Intelligence.
