Mary Harris grew up on a farm north of El Paso and attended school at MDR (Minonk-Dana-Rutland) where she participated in marching and concert bands. Mary attended Illinois Central College and Illinois State University, graduating with a bachelor degree in Business Administration.
Mary is married to David P. Harris and lives in Normal, Illinois with her husband and two children, Justine and Preston. She works at Country Insurance and Financial Services in systems analysis. She is a member of the Community Concert Band of Bloomington-Normal and currently serves as President of that organization.
